My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Boston! I’ve come all the way from Thailand to find my perfect furever home. I was rescued by Soi Dogs and taken into foster by Just Paws. I'm about 3-4 years old and weigh 22lbs.

Even though I wasn’t treated so nice in the beginning of my life, I still really love my humans. My favourite things are snuggling with my foster mom and dad, wrestling with my foster fur brother, getting belly rubs, and going for walks.

I'm wary of strangers and will bark and may nip a bit but once they sit all I'll want from them is belly rubs. I am looking for a family that will be patient and understanding and use positive reinforcement training as I learn all the great things life as a dog in Canada has to offer. I like to run fast around a backyard so no apartments or condos for me please. A nice quiet street without tons of people would suit me best. No kids please, I'd prefer an adults only home.

I would love another dog to play with. I’m very smart and already learned how to sit for treats by watching my foster brother. I know Down, Come (most of the time) and I'm working on Stay. I like to alert the family when people or dogs are walking by the house but I’m getting better at listening to my foster mom when she tells me there is nothing to worry about. Although I love my new cushy life here, I still might run when doors are opening so be careful when leaving or coming home. I don’t mind sleeping in the crate when you are gone or go to bed, although if offered I will happily sleep in the bed with you. My foster mom says I’m the sweetest little guy, especially when I get excited I have the cutest bounce. Also, I don’t look like it but I do shed fur.
