Matthew is a sweet and gentle giant. He is quick to trust and share love. He likes to be pet and talked to, but is also happy to spend quiet time alone. He is very easy to love.

Matthew has a quiet meow that he uses to let you know it's time to give him some attention. He especially likes watching what is going on in the kitchen. And he always likes to join his human on the bed for some head scratches before he leaves to go to sleep. If he's not finished being pet he'll let you know by gently touching your arm a few times with his paw. Like most male mainecoons, he is a large cat with fur all over, including the bottom of his paws.

Matthew is bonded with his sister Maya and the two will need to be adopted together. He is happy to eat the same weight loss food that Maya eats. As a treat he likes a little cat food gravy each day as well.
