Tatiana's Story...
Say hi to Tatiana. She is a strong kitten and is lucky to be alive. When she was only a few days old she was found by a farmer while walking on his property. There were no other kittens or mother cat to be found and it was raining. Fortunately for Tatiana, she was taken to VPAS where she went into foster care and was hand-raised by three loving foster parents. In her foster homes she had many furry friends: dogs (big and small), cats (skinny and fat), and even a frog to play with!!! Tatiana loves dogs and cats and she especially loves to play with them. She loves to run and jump, and her favourite game is 'hunt the human hiding behind the couch!' When she finally tires out she loves to cuddle and give Eskimo kisses. She has a great purr and she has the most beautiful markings. Tatiana would really love to go to a home with other animals that she can play with because she has a LOT of energy to burn. If you are ready for this high energy kitten please contact VPAS at victoriapets@gmail.com and ask about Tatiana. She is currently in foster care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tatiana, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
