My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie is a little guy ready to take on the world! He loves to make friends wherever he goes and would prefer the company of another small dog (girl dogs are his favorite, he's quite the flirt!). Large dogs intimidate him, so he would do best with a small furry girlfriend. His favorite thing in the whole world is playing fetch. He will fetch for as long as you will throw the ball. If you have a ball in hand...be ready to have a new best friend. Be sure to watch his fetching abilities in his YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFTyFL21PcQ An active home with a fenced-in yard would suit him best. When playtime is over, Ollie is a great snuggler. He loves to sleep with his foster family and will cuddle right in as close as he can get. He has had great house manners with no accidents. We can't say enough great things about our sweet boy.

Ollie was rescued from a high intake rural outdoor shelter in Southeastern Missouri where he was on death row. There is no adoption program there, his only way out was to be rescued. Dolly's Legacy is honored to have saved his life and have promised him a happy home.

Ollie is a 2 yr old male Yorkshire Terrier who weighs 13 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $400. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted.
