Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eli, is a 5+ year old friendly, fluffy, black ball of mush who was brought in as a stray to a high kill shelter down south. The shelter nicknamed him Happy because he was such a smiley, easy-going fella and we just had to save this happy guy! Eli is 42 pounds of pure sweetness and joy. Although Eli has no outward symptoms of heartworm disease, unfortunately he tested positive and will require appropriate treatment. However, his care will be 100% funded by GSAR. Eli loves everyone: young people, old people, babies, dogs and cats. And hey, don’t let that gray muzzle fool you. This guy still has plenty of spring in his step! Eli loves to go for walks as much as he loves hanging out on the couch. He is smart, housetrained, affectionate (he thinks he is a lap dog!), rides great in the car and is oh-so-kind. He is a true “people dog.” If you are looking for a best friend to spend your days with Eli is your guy: The ultimate canine companion. Eli is neutered, microchipped and and up-to-date on age appropriate shots! His adoption fee is $275. We require a fully fenced yard not invisible fence. To adopt Eli please go to gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org to apply.
