My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a sweet. 8 yr old yorkie mix weighing in at a tiny 6 lbs. She is a low energy girl who loves everyone she meets. Harley has good house manners and is easy to have around. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She is mostly deaf and seems to benefit by having another dog around. She's not crazy about riding in the car so if you want a dog to keep you company on your errands she is not the one for you. Harley is fine left alone and does not need to be crated. Harley loves to cuddle next to you on the couch or in a nearby dog bed. Harley is very attached to the teen in her foster home but we won't place her with kids under 8 due to her hearing loss since she may be startled easily by little ones. We do not know Harley's history with cats.
Harley came to us from a local shelter in need of some vet care. We did an intensive dental cleaning on her, including several teeth extractions. Now her teeth and mouth is in great shape. Since she was not spayed she had developed an ovarian tumor and a few small mammary tumors. We removed them all with clean margins. Biopsy results will be provided to the adopter. Harley has now recovered from all her vetting and is healthy and ready to go to her forever home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in Harley please submit an application which can be found on our website at www.baystatedogs.com or email us at baystatedogs@yahoo.com.
