My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Monkey: Born 4/14/17, male, black Siamese mix kitten

OK, black kitten lovers! We finally have a little black treasure for you on our kitten page, and what a beauty he is! With his long, slender body and super long tail, he stands out as a silhouette as he plays. He is a visual pleasure. His short, very black hair glistens in the light--you can see the shine in some of the photos. He is so healthy and so very lithe and athletic, he is a delight to watch. I love his expressive, curling, waving long tail. Look at his big, round, gold headlight eyes.

His mother was a blue-eyed Siamese/Ragdoll mix. She gave birth to him and brother, Dweezill, in her foster home. Blue-eyed Siamese females who mate with non blue-eyed males produce mostly black kittens. Monkey is a good example. We saw him being born and he has grown up with lots of love. Right now, as most kittens are, he is totally into playing -- he is all about movement. When he is tired, he will settle in with you for some petting. If you wiggle a feather for him, he will love you forever. If you hold him, he will soon ask to be put down so he can play some more. If you give him catnip, he is exultant.

Some family will have such fun with him. He is like a walking sculpture. And he is such a good natured nice guy. Ideally, Monkey would like to go home with his black and white, big brother, Dweezill as they have been play buddies forever.

Monkey eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
