My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Collette (left) and Jambar (right) are a sister-brother pair who were orphaned at 3 weeks old. Collette is a confident, bold young lady who wants to explore and live life to the fullest. No mountain too high (couch) no valley too deep (bathtub), no dog too big (dog) for this girrrrrl. She is quiet, very loving and has dibs next to her person on the bed. She easily interacts with visitors, handles goofy dogs, and loves her brother very much. She is very responsive to love, but not overbearing. A bonus: she is from West Africa, from Senegal. If she had not been rescued, Collette would be at the top of a mango tree, surveying the African coast and sniffing the breeze.

Jambar is her brother and is a sensitive, gentle boy dedicated to supporting his sister. He's a lover, not an explorer. He has a unique sound, a raspy, soft, Greta Garbo voice. Like his sis, he's confident and calm -- he can handle dogs easily, and guests -- no problem! Jambar is an African name that means "warrior", but Jambar is not a fighter -- he, too, has his spot on the bed and it is sacred. Jambar's father was an old salty, a strong street cat that was wise and calm, and Jambar is just like him. He is aware of just how handsome he is, but there's no arrogance, he's just a sweet gentle soul who wants a warm lap somewhere near his sister.

Colette & Jambar need to find a home together.
