Sparky's Story...
Meet Sparky! Since arriving at our shelter as a stray, Sparky has taken the world by storm. He is personable, confident, and quickly making friends with all his 2 legged and 4 legged visitors alike. He is our one-man welcoming crew. And best part about it, he is looking for nothing in return except a loving pat on the head or a good chin scratch. His endearing, crooked smile is also part of his charm. Sparky doesn't think you have to be perfect to be beautiful.

If you love that big dog attitude in a small dog body, Sparky is the one for you. Please come visit him at the shelter or call his consultants, Janine and Mike at 216-224-3159. Sparky is hard at work on his wish list for Santa, and his number one request...a warm home for the holidays. He would be the perfect addition to welcome your holiday guests.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Berea Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Berea, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
