Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**ADOPTION PENDING**
Ace was rescued as an infant in June 2017, with his mother and six littermates, from a Maryland shelter. He is easy to handle, a very good eater, and already has wonderful litter box habits. He was neutered last year, and has spent several months with an elementary school class, but is now ready for his forever home.
His foster mom is the teacher of the class Ace has attended, and she says: "Ace is a wonderful rabbit. He has been very good with the children in the animal unit. If he had too much, he would go in the little box fort I gave him. He is good with my children at home. I will say that he seems to enjoy company of my older child and adults more than younger kids, but maybe it is just so many young kids at once was overwhelming. He is a good eater, but he is far more curious about exploring than he is about eating food. When he wants his own space, he goes in his cage. He is free to roam the basement for almost the entire day. He does chew on the fabric on the couch. In the evening, he will either come when called or put himself back in his cage because he is ready for bed. The only negative behavior is that he can be territorial. If he is under the couch, he will charge at you and grunt. But otherwise he is very friendly. He likes to be pet and scratched around his shoulders. If he wants to be pet, he will come up and nose you. He is definitely a rabbit with his own opinions. If we could adopt him, we would love to."
If you're interested in adopting Ace, please fill out the application at http://www.friendsofrabbits.org/forms/form?verify=abc123&formid=3852 and email Friends of Rabbits at adoptions@friendsofrabbits.org and someone will call or email you to schedule a visit. His adoption fee is $90, which reimburses our organization for some of his veterinary costs. Ace is fostered in Falls Church, VA.
