My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Max!  He is the perfect combination of affectionate, playful, and easygoing.  He was born around June 2013, and weighs in at a Pyrfect 90 pounds.

This sweetie pie is affectionate and loves cuddling with his humans.  He is good with older considerate children.   He is great on leash, and likes a quick pace, maybe even a jog!  He loves meeting new people along the way.

Max gets along great with big female dogs and is respectful of the ones that don’t want to play.  He wants to be the only male dog in his household.  Given his exuberance, he would do best with an active doggie companion to help him expend his energy.

If he is the only dog in his forever home, his humans need to keep him active with walks, playing, and various adventures.  He is very spirited and needs lots of room to run and play.  He loves his toys!

Max is house trained and rides great in a car.   He hasn’t been around cats or small dogs, so we don’t know how he would do with them in the house.

He loves to be outside whether he’s playing or just lying contentedly in the grass.  He has a lovely, deep, muted bark when he needs to warn you about something.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.  All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention.  Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
