Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Comet is a gorgeous, affectionate yet tentative at first, six-month-old, 43-pound, male chocolate and vanilla pit bull terrier-mix puppy with gorgeous hazel eyes looking for a dog-loving guardian.
Comet gets along with other dogs, people of all ages and cats. He would be happiest in a home with another dog.
His mom landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control. She was rescued and gave birth to seven puppies on March 17th while in a foster home.
Comet is crate – trained and working on perfecting his house breaking. He knows the command sit and would benefit from additional training in his new home.
He is very healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the Fortunate Pooches rescue. If adopted with his best friend and sister Gigi, their adoption fee is $400 as a pair.
To meet and possibly adopt Comet/and or Gigi, please contact amysusanbrennan@aol.com for an adoption application.
Comet and Gigi are currently in a Chicago foster home with multiple other dogs of all sizes, cats and older children.
