If you're looking for a hyper dog you'll have to look elsewhere because Parker's motto is "Chill". Parker is a freckle-faced boy who is so grateful just to be alive. It's like he
knows we pulled him in the nick of time from an overcrowded city shelter where, being cute doesn't buy you one more minute if they need the space (which they did). We couldn't let that happen to a boy this sweet, so we pulled him and brought him into our program and he's been showing his gratitude ever since!!
Parker is happy to join in the fun with his foster siblings, running around like a lunatic in bursts of puppy energy. But when everyone is tired out, he is thrilled to just chillax -- once a hound dog, always a hound dog. Parker is super low key, very much a people dog and loves relaxing in his foster mom's lap. He gets along very well with other dogs and is great with cats. He's just an all-around good boy! He's also a total HAM in front of the camera, in case you couldn't tell -- talk about turning on the charm!
Parker has been so easy to teach. He knows "kennel up", "outside", "no jumps", and he doesn't pull on the leash . . . although he may not always want to go in the same direction you do!! Parker is about 4 - 5 months old, he weighs about 30 pounds and he's a very healthy boy.
