My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Angus isn't our typical desert dog save. Angus hails from Tyler Texas and he escaped Texas just before the wrath of Harvey hit! Angus was actually pulled from the shelter because our very own Kris refused to give up on him. He was slated to die and she called the shelter to let them know her interest in saving him. This delayed his euthanasia as she was the ONLY person to show interest. We were able to get him pulled, fostered thanks to very generous folks in Texas and it just so happened our friend Tim Welch of Redefined Dog Training was passing through and able to help get Angus to CA. Wendy drove him from Bellflower to Bakersfield on Aug 26 and this amazing dog is now part of the family of forgotten souls we know and love dearly!
He's curr e toy boarded with a dear friend of ours for 12.00 a day and we really need help finding him the perfect plan. He's young, dog friendly, big tall guy but only around 70ish lbs, a total water hound...Hes good in the car. He's good on leash. He loves physical affection and will go out of the way to touch you. Lean on you. Snuggle you.
He's the best friend sort of guy and while we don't normally bring dogs IN his life was saved for the effort and oh what an amazing soul he has! Worth every gray hair.
Angus is currently getting treatment for heartworms.
