Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Fuchsia (aka Dixie). I'm 6 months old and weigh about 18lbs. My mom was a beautiful red beagle and guessing dad was a Beagle-Bassett.
I love to run and play, wrestle with my foster sister, roll in the grass, and play tug with toys. I run until I have no more energy then I crash. I am great with dogs; I love my foster cat, and my foster parents’ granddaughter.
I also ride well in car. I like my walks but of course my nose is to the ground. I'm mostly potty trained. I can stay in a crate but not happy and will tell you about it. I would love to snuggle in with you at night, just let me have my own pillow.
I am very vocal, so I would not be good in an apartment or condo. I would love a fenced backyard to run and play. It would be great to have another dog-sibling too. I am beginning to lean toward alpha traits so keep that in mind, I can be independent and stubborn.
When I decide to slow down I love to snuggle and give kisses.
Even though I do have these big beautiful ears, I have hearing loss. My foster mom says it doesn't seem to affect me. I just have to be within her sights. How much loss? We don't know. We assume I was born this way.
If you think you have enough time and energy to keep track of me. I'd love to have a forever home. .

Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very sma
