Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Janie is a Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), 6 months old. The breed has Australian Dingo, Dalmatian, and Collie in its background. They were bred to be silent herders of cattle with speed and a keen sense of hearing and smell. It is one of these dogs who holds the record for the oldest dog on record at 29 years. He worked his flocks for 20 years. Janie has a strong herding instinct and would probably be happiest in a home by herself or with a very laid back male companion (dog). She is "bossy" to say the least. Great with children. Smart as a whip.
