Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dot, Dot is a 3 year old female black and white Border Collie, She came into rescue with her gal pal Tippy.
Dot does not have the confidence that Tippy has. She is quite timid and will hide, until she gets to know you. When she comes to you, she will submit and lie down on her tummy and roll over. Once she knows you, she is very sweet and comes out of her shell. She will need a committed person who is willing to work with her confidence and help her blossom into the awesome border collie we think she is.
She is also a bit of a fence fighter and will bark when dogs walk by her in the play yard. She is not dog reactive while on a leash. She is learning basic commands which are coming along nicely.
Although Dot can be placed separately from Tippy, we are hoping to find a home where both can be adopted together. if you are looking to adopt 2 border collies, then Tippy and Dot would be your pair.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
