Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Experienced handlers only please. Zachary is a 2 yr old male who is looking for an active person to share his life with. Zach was the only pet growing up and was not socialized with other dogs when he was a puppy. We have exposed him to dogs and he has no clue how to play. He runs behind them barking non-stop, but did not show signs of aggression. However, he is not a fan of sharing so we did not have food or toys around because of this. He has good house manners, he does not get on furniture or chew on human stuff as long as you have plenty of toys to entertain him. Zachary is still a curious puppy that can get into things when not supervised. He is house trained and crate trained, he walks beautiful on leash and rides like a saint in the car. He knows some basic commands but needs a strong leader to ensure he performs them. He is food and toy motivated giving you a baseline to start with. Zach just learned what having a fenced in yard is and the art of playing fetch. Our concern with Zach is he has no bite inhibition and therefore we have reservations with placing him in a home with children of any age. He would also not do good in a home with cats. Zachary has so much potential to grow and become a loving member of your family and the key to a beautiful relationship with him will be all about the training and working his mind.
