Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Kit. I am a small female kitten, solid black with a white star on my chest. I was born approx. May 27, 2017, along with my brothers Kat and Kaboodle, into a hoarding situation. While I lived there, no one took notice of my serious eye infection. By the time I was rescued and brought into foster care, my eyes had clouded over, due to the corneal trauma from the infection. While my brothers soon got adopted, I had to remain in foster care to see a veterinary ophthalmologist and spend some time on medications. The good news is that I am well now! My corneal ulcers have healed, and my retinas show no damage - I have perfect vision. I still have some clouding in my right eye, which may or may not clear up as I grow, but it doesn't bother me one bit! In spite of my rough start in life, I am a sweet and sensible young kitten. I don't get up to a lot of mischief; I enjoy just hanging out with my people and I am perfectly comfortable with dogs and adult cats around. I get along well with everyone. I am super-cooperative at the veterinarian, can be handled easily, and love to curl up in a lap. I am litter-box trained, crate-trained, and growing well on a diet of both dry and canned kitten food. I have received all my vaccines, blood testing (FeLV/FIV negative), fecal testing and wormings/flea preventative to date, and will need a surgical spay (covered by my adoption fee) in late November 2017.
Please consider giving me the forever home I so deserve. I am such a nice kitten! Because I am still very young, I would benefit from some companionship during the day, either people at home, a kitten-loving dog, or adult cats.
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.BillericaCatCareCoalition.org. We are an all volunteer group so please allow 72 hours for a reply.
