My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Amy (HWTH#17277A). She is a Pointer mix, DOB: 6/21/17. Josie weighs approximately 15 pounds now with more growing to do (she will be a medium-size dog when mature). She was rescued from the local animal shelter and is now with Halfway to Home in order for Amy to find the Forever home she deserves. This is a sweet, playful, curious girl who is now being fostered by a Halfway to Home volunteer and is residing with 12 other dogs of various ages and sizes with no problems. Amy has learned to use a dog door and is pen trained but will still need to be house trained. When Amy is settled in her new home and has matured a little more, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and other obedience commands. She should also be given an abundance of chew toys to give her an outlet for puppy chewing. It will also be imperative Amy be given lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and exercise. For more information on Amy, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.
