Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Message Body
Ace: 3 year old GSD/chow Good with people, dogs, kids Partially potty trained Cats unknown
The first thing you'll notice when you see Ace is that not only is he very handsome, but he has a very regal bearing. He has such a noble air about him,. When he stands patiently, tail wagging slowly, eyes bright & alert, his aristocratic air almost takes your breath away. But don't let his good looks fool you; he is an extremely social & friendly boy. He likes everyone he meets. He's well-mannered & even-tempered with everyone and gladly accepts the attention & strokes he usually receives. Ace's amiable disposition make him terrific with all people & children he encounters. He is also amicable with most other dogs; the only canines we wouldn't place him with are large, dominant males. Ace is a great 'leader of the pack' because he takes the role in a confident & assertive way; dogs willingly fall in line under his instinctive command. Although he is the 'boss', Ace eagerly engages in rough housing; he relishes rigorous wrestling, intense tug-of-war games, and tearing around the yard in a fast game of chase. Contrary to most German Shepherds or Chows, Ace is not protective of his people or his environment; he genially invites everyone to pet him and come into his home. At one time, Ace was potty-trained but had to be confiscated from an unstable, dysfunctional home and is now in a kennel environment. As a result, he will need refresher potty training but, because he's had this skill and is not an avid 'leg-hiker', he should regain this knowledge quickly. Let us know if you want to meet this beautiful boy!
