My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toto had been around my neighborhood for a while. I was feeding him but he would run if I came close. I asked neighbors if they knew if he belonged to anyone but no one did.

A few weeks ago I noticed Toto walking slowly across the road on a rainy night. Then one night when I came home, he was under my car and actually cried to me when I called him.

He was walking with his head cocked so I thought he might have been hit by a car. He still didn't want to come right to me, but after a couple of nights, I managed to get him to go into a carrier .

I took him to the vet and the vet said in the past Toto suffered from neglect/trauma when he was living outdoors.. The vet said Toto had a very bad middle ear infection that was left untreated and that is why he cocks his head. The vet also said Toto had suffered skin irritation from fleas when living outdoors. Toto also has soft pads and the vet said Toto may have walked across something hot. Toto is also missing some teeth, but can eat just fine. He may have been clipped by a car also.

However, the vet said Toto is doing well now and there is no sign of infections.

Toto is just so affectionate! He appreciates being safe and warm. He keeps butting into my hands so I will pet him.

He likes other non aggressive cats also, and kittens.

Toto would be a great companion for anyone looking for an affectionate cat.

I had him neutered and he is UTD on vaccinations and has had wormer. He is also combo tested and microchipped!

References and $65 adoption fee towards vet costs so I can keep rescuing are asked.
