My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a pretty gray brindle 14lb, 5 year old Shih Tzu who is still learning to trust people. She was rescued from a commercial breeder and has made a lot of progress in her foster home, mastering leash walking and doing well on her house training skills. Lucy is still fearful of people. She needs a home with another small dog and humans who can help her socialize and overcome her fears. This little girl enjoys sleeping in the big bed and getting attention. Lucy loves to play with her foster siblings and chase her chew bone around. She is good with other dogs, cats, and older, gentler children. Lucy is being fostered in New York and can travel to her forever home.
