Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cora s an approximately 2.5-year-old spayed female Shi Tzu. Her all brown and white coat will require regular brushing and she will need to have haircuts several times per year. She is being crate trained in her foster home and will need to continue that to become fully housebroken. She is an absolute love. She's somewhat playful and very relaxed. She loves to be in a lap. She loves people of all ages and other dogs too. She came in as a stray with Candice, another Shih Tzu. They can be adopted together, but don't have to be. I think both would be fine either way.
PLEASE NOTE: Although she looks like a purebred, she has caused allergic reactions in two potential adopters. She does appear to be no shed and will require the expected grooming that comes with the breed, but may not be hypoallergenic, so not a good fit for a home where there are dog allergies.
If you are interested in adoption, please fill out an application and return it to us. Please tell us a little about the home you can provide for one or both dogs. You may also call Terri evenings or weekends at 925.417.1180. Please note, if you don't receive a response, please assume a forever home has been found.
