My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Columbus is an 8-week-old, 11 lb puppy that comes from a large family. He has 2 brothers and 6 sisters, and he is now the largest of his siblings. He was named Columbus because he was the first to start investigating and exploring his foster home. Columbus and his siblings were rescued at the age of 4 days old as an emergency situation because the shelter was going to have to euthanize them all due to reaching capacity. He has been raised with all of his siblings, and his mom and dad. He has mastered walking up and down ramps and doing small sets of stairs. He is a healthy, well rounded, fun loving puppy that engages well with his siblings and parents. He also loves hugs and kisses from his foster parents. His parents are both extremely gentle and loving and we expect Columbus to grow to have their gentle manner as well. Columbus will make an excellent addition to any family.

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
