Here's what the humans have to say about me:
INTRODUCING ZEN!! Zen is a handsome lab mix who we estimate to be around 7 years old. Poor Zen ended up at a kill shelter after his owner passed away and was running out of time. LFS stepped in to give this sweet boy a second chance. Zen is a very gentle, easy going dog who knows some basic commands already. He rode well in the car, and his foster family says that he is adjusting well to their home. He was friendly while meeting all the neighbors and his new foster sister, Mollie. His foster family says that Zen doesn't bark but will “talk to you.” They also said that he loves dog toys and acts younger than he is. He walks well on the leash and is friendly to people and other dogs. The shelter said he’s not too fond of cats, but he seemed to do okay with some kittens that were in the lobby at the vet’s office. Zen seems to be housebroken. He is just a happy dog in general! Zen is a loving dog with a great temperament who would make a great addition to a new family!
Zen has seen our vet and is being treated for an ear infection. He will have his teeth cleaned in the coming days, after which he will receive a clean bill of health. He is a little underweight right now but a little time spent in a loving foster home should help with that in no time. Keep checking back for updates on this handsome boy as we get him to a good weight and learn more about his personality from his foster parents!!
