My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a 2-3 year old, 17 pound beagle/yorkie mix. Although her previous family loved her dearly, they could not keep her safe (her previous owner's neighbor was hitting her with an umbrella and she was chasing cars and bicyclists) and decided to surrender her. She has had 4 litters of puppies in a short time and is now spayed. She is extremely loving and affectionate and sweetly humble. She is active and playful and looking for a suitable family. She will need a family that is willing to train her to not chase after cars and bicycles and teach her some manners around cats (she tends to want to chase them as well). She can also be very vocal. She has so much potential, just needs some proper attention and training.
