Little Jenny, who is blind, is one of the orphan kittens who C.A.T. took in when they were evacuated from the coast to escape Hurricane Irma. Jenny's blindness doesn't stop her from exploring, playing, and enjoying life. She loves toys that jingle or rattle--she chases them all over the floor. She also likes soft toys she can grab onto and roll around with. As a stray kitten, Jenny's infected eyes were in such terrible condition when she was rescued that treatment couldn't save her sight, and both her eyes had to be removed. She's an outgoing, friendly, affectionate kitten who loves to cuddle with people. Jenny gets along well with other cats, and her best friend is a male kitten named Cookie, who was evacuated with her and who is also available for adoption. Jenny is spayed, her shots are up to date, and the loss of her eyes is not expected to cause any health complications in future. Her foster mom would be happy to talk with prospective adopters about how to help Jenny adjust to a new space when she's adopted--she learns very quickly and can probably adapt to most environments.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.
