Brock and 3 female GSPs were owner relinquished due to a change of circumstances in their family. Brock is a majestic 5 year old male who was neutered shortly after his arrival at the shelter on Aug 28, 2017. He is AKC registered and a copy of his registration will be provided to his adopter. He has spent time indoors at previous home but do not know if he is fully housebroken. Adoption fee $400. More photos in Comments. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members. All approved adopters must accompany their new family member on the journey home. We do not ship nor transport.

Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4.
