Opal came to us as part of a hoarding and neglect case. She was skin and bones when we came into our program. But after several months of TLC, Opal is finally health and ready to find her home! She is around 14-15 pounds and is around 5-6 years old. Opal is your normal, loving, stubborn doxie! She loves to be with her human and will follow you everywhere. She's a lap dog and loves to snuggle and give kisses. She has gotten along very well with all of the dogs in her foster home - big or small. She does like to think she is the boss. She was cat tested couple weeks ago and she showed no interest in them. She listens well - most of the time. She loves being outside and riding in the car. Sometimes when she meets a new man for first time she just backs up and barks She has never tried to bite anyone but she isn't going to trust them for awhile. She gets along great with her foster mom's boyfriend and stepfather,but it did take a few times meeting them until she trusted them. She has come A LONG WAY but will definitely need some patience when she goes to a new home, as everything will be new for her.
