Johnna's Story...
Are you looking for a dog with a Lab temperament bundled in a small package? We have the dog for you! Johnna is a 35 pound Yellow Lab / Shepherd mix who is a year old (D.O.B. November 25, 2007). She is a very affectionate dog who likes to be near people, either sitting alongside you or with her head lying on your lap. Johnna appears to be a quick learner and is working on some commands with her foster family. She gets along well with other dogs and is usually the one to initiate play time. Johnna has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Johnna in her foster home. Her adoption fee is $165. (DK&SC)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnna, a Owatonna Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
