Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey, everyone! Little CJ here. I’ve been in foster care with Georgia Jack Russell Rescue since I was rescued from the shelter in April of 2017. I was in need of some medical attention and a little TLC, so they kept me safe, sound and spoiled until I healed up. Well, guess what! I’m all healed up now and ready to roll to my forever home.
I’m around 13-14 years old and my hearing and sight aren’t quite what they used to be. But does that hold me down? Heck no! I get around just fine.
I’m great on a leash and can see shadows and follow your voice or a clicker. I’m soft ’n fluffy like a teddy bear and very easygoing. My favorite thing to do is just to lounge around the house (I love my crate), but I also enjoy going for short walks and checking out my surroundings. (Lizards don’t get passed my nose!) I’m house/crate trained, but have the occasional “old lady” accident, so I’ll need someone to keep a close eye on me.
Other dogs are OK, as long as they respect my space and don’t want to wrestle. I’d rather rest. I would do best in a low-key home with someone who understands special-needs dogs who are in their golden years.
