Hello world! My name is Wolfie. I'm an 8-year-old male Shiba Inu mix. I weigh about 18 pounds. I have a super unique look. Everyone thinks I'm a Miniature Husky but no one really knows for sure. All we know is that I'm a sweet, cuddly little nugget who wants nothing more than to sit by your side all day long! I get along great with people and I love other dogs! I'd make the perfect pup for any family. Since I'm on the mature side, I don't need a lot of exercise. Just a couple of walks per day and plenty of pets, and I'll be happy. Are you the family I've been searching for?
So I bet you're wondering how I ended up here. Well, I was turned into into South Los Angeles shelter by my owner, for no fault of my own. I was so confused and was sure they would change their mind and come back for me. I waited and waited, but they never came back. I didn't know what the future held for me, but it wasn't looking good.
I waited patiently in my cage at the pound for a few weeks, until finally, CageFree heard about me and decided to give me a second chance at life. They pulled me out of the shelter and brought me back to their rescue facility, which is where I now reside. I'm getting to know my new canine and human friends, and I'm acclimating to my environment nicely. I'm definitely on the skinny side and could stand to gain a few pounds. I love my food but I'm sure with some extra love and treats, I'll be at a healthy weight in no time. But my journey doesn't end here. I'm in search of my happily ever after with my forever family !
