My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little 3 year old Olive was surrendered to a shelter due to not enough time for her and her escaping escapades. She is a gorgous, tiny girl weighing in at 10#. She is very affectionate and loves to jump onto your lap/chest for snuggles and love. She is very playful and energetic too and will need someone dedicated to take her for daily walks and take the time to play to expend her high energy. In her foster home, she gets along great with her iggy foster brothers. Due to her very small size and possibilty of getting unintentionally hurt (leg breaks, etc) we are looking for a home without large dogs. She would love a home with other small dogs. She has proven herself to be an escape artist while in her previous home and her foster home. She tries to dart through slightly opened doors and gates so we are looking for a home without small children to keep her safely containly. She will need a securely fenced in yard to fulfill her need for exercise and love of running (no chain link as she can climb over and dig under). We are looking for a home with iggy experience due to her escape/flight risk. She is working on refining her potty training skills in her foster home (as most iggies need). She rides great in the car while in her crate and doesn't make a peep! She is used to being crated when the front door will be opened to prevent her escape. We believe in her previous home, she was left alone quite a bit so we are looking for someone who is home more than away. Olive is spayed, had a recent dental cleaning, vaccinated and heartworm neg and on preventatives. She is fully vetted and ready to go to her forever home with someone who knows about the uniqueness of IG's and who will be able to not only give her the attention and exercise she needs, but keep her safe.
