Pima was rescued from a rural shelter where he found himself on their euthanasia list. He was black in a shelter with very few adoptions during the height of kitten season - NOT a good spot for this little guy to be in. The shelter had almost 20 kittens on their euthanasia list and a kind-hearted man that was at the shelter couldn't stand it so he left with all of them. This was a previous adopter times two kitties with Furry Friends and although he was affiliated with a different rescue group at the time he pulled the kittens/cats, this group folded and he was left with way too many kittens to handle. He contacted Furry Friends and this is how Pima came into our foster/adoption program. Pima is a wonderful cat! He is only about five or six months old and has an amazing personality. He LOVES dogs and went right up to the dogs in his foster home for a rub the very first time he met them! He had absolutely zilch fear or hesitation and that is how he is in all social settings. He is like a little puppy dog; he has no reason to be afraid and so he's not. Pima has a fantastic personality and will be a gorgeous sleek black kitty when he grows up. All he needs is you!
