My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to our adorable little Duke. He is a two-year-old, 18 pound schnauzer mix. He was rescued from a Texas shelter during Hurricane Harvey to make room for displaced dogs. Duke has an awesome personality and has never met a stranger. He loves car rides and going on walks with his family. He does well with other dogs and cats but would be just as happy as an only dog getting all the love. He would do best in a home where his family isn’t gone for long hours because he just loves his people and doesn’t want to be alone too long.
**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.
**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.
