My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

So you came here looking for a lab...I understand, but please take a moment to consider Lola, a female shephard mix. While she is not a lab, she is the most incredibly sweet and well behaved dog and deserves a second look. Lola is an owner turn-in who weighs about 75 lbs.
I can't say enough about this gentle soul. She is always around you but can go unnoticed due to her tender, easy spirit. Lola gets along well with other dogs, is house trained and has excellent manners. According to her previous owner, she spent the last two years outside. But you wouldn't know because she has perfect behavior in the house. Her interaction with cats is unknown but we are told that she does well with children. Lola does have a problem with her tear ducts not producing tears, so she does require eye drops for the rest of her
life. And she has an autoimmune disorder that has caused part of her nose to be pink. We are currently putting a prescription ointment on it that will keep it from progressing and may even restore the pigment to black. Otherwise she is very healthy and truly one of the most amazing dogs I have ever known.
