Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frolic is fun, friendly, and full of life. Born without one of her eyes she doesn't even know she's missing it and gets along great without it. Smart, agile and devoted is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to describing her.
Frolic has a gorgeous coat. We are certain she is a Dutch Shepherd, but if there is anything mixed in there we would say perhaps lab.
Frolic is eager to please and wants to learn quickly to please her people. She even walks well on lead already and sits on command. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home though they do need to correct her puppy-ish behavior on occasion. If introduced properly she should get along with most cats. And kids? She loves them. She does great in the car.
If you would like to meet and potentially adopt this beauty please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
