Mimi's Story...
Mimi is a beautiful kitten with striking classic tabby swirl markings. She has a lot to be thankful for, as she was rescued after being abandoned at a County Office Building in Modesto 2 days before Thanksgiving. This afftectionate little girl is about 6 months of age and loves to be held and petted. She shows her appreciation for your cuddles with an unending purr! She loves to "talk", greeting you with a cute little "meow" the moment you walk in the room. If you would like Mimi to become a part of your family, please contact Alley Cat Guardians at 209-567-3570 or by email at adoptions@alleycatguardians.com to start the adoption process.

Mimi is spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FELV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi, a Modesto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
