DOGGIE BIO:
Meet Joseph!
This senior doxie is a 10 years old short-haired black and tan 23 lb doxie. Joseph has a few senior issues including eye problems (may be cataracts), hearing and dental issues. He is neutered and has been to a vet recently. He has flea allergies but is currently flea free. Joseph loves to take naps and cuddle on the couch with his owner!
Due to his owners own health problems and arthritis she is unable to physically care for Joseph.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.
*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.
Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
