Serena is a beautiful German Shepherd mix who is approx. 5 mos. old. She came to us from a shelter that euthanizes for space and her time was up. She was very skinny at first but since being in a loving foster home, she is getting good nutritious food and supplements and has gained weight. Serena is great with kids, people and other dogs. The two young girls in her foster home adore her and sing to her and give her nicknames. She is very good with them and very loving towards them. She also likes to spend time next to the other dogs in the home. Serena had a rough start in her young life but that is all behind her now and she is ready to find a family of her own to love.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
