Daisy's sad plight prompts us to issue a reminder to all pet owners. Like Daisy, too often, pet owners fail to make provisions for care of their pets in their wills. With no where else to go, pets left behind when their owners die end up in the shelter, sad and bewildered at the sudden change in circumstances, grieving for the loss of their loved one. And so it is for Daisy, our two-year-old pit mix. Daisy yearns for the stability of a new home with older children and no other pets.
