Hera's Story...
Hi, My name is Hera. I am a spayed female that
was born on October 1st, 2008. I was one of 13 puppies that were born to a stray Pyrenees Mix. My Mom weighs over 100 pounds. At 9 weeks old, I weighed in at 12.5 pounds!! I am going to be very big. I am so loveable and I love being held, but in a short amount of time, I will be too big to hold much! I am still young right now, so I am just now learning things. I am learning to stay in my kennel and sleep at night. I am learning to sit and wait for treats and I am working on housetraining, but my attention span is still pretty short. I like attention and will follow you everywhere! I would be a loyal companion to someone willing to work with me and train me. I would definitely need a fenced yard to run and play in. Do you have a place in your home for me? I would love to be a part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hera, a Hendersonville Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
