Tank's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tank's Story...
This is Tank a Chow/Lab mix apprx 3-5yrs old. He was emergently pulled out of the Carroll County dog pound at the last minute before being gassed. He is a very nice boy that wants a home soooo bad. He is neutered, UTD on shots including Bordatella and Frontline. He looks big in the pictures but he is very short. He walks well on the leash and is very well mannered. Loves attention and to have his head rubbed and loves to play in the snow. He gets along well with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. He was boarded at a kennel for 3 months and now has a new foster mommy. However, he wants his forever home ASAP so he can get on with his life and love someone the way they will love him. As you can see when he was emergently pulled from the pound, he has been without a forever home too long. Someone please let him be your companion, he won't let you down. Adoption Fee: $75

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Carrollton Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chow Chow/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
