Wilson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Wilson's Story...
Wilson was brought into our facility but has since been fostered. He needs a new family that is willing to be patient with him and give him lots of love and attention. He was neglected and abused badly. He is very skittish of males until he sees that you're not going to hurt him. He's great with kids and other dogs. He doesn't harm cats but does like to chase them. If you think you can give him a forever home please contact us ASAP. He is still slowly but surely gaining weight and he definately does love his food! He doesn't go the bathroom on the inside of the house but he is still training on staying away from the garbage. Please help give this big guy a better chance at life! This guy needs a forever home ASAP!

Act quickly to adopt Wilson. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilson, a Macclenny Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Macclenny, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Macclenny.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macclenny already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macclenny breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macclenny paves the way for another one to be saved.
