Black Bart's Story...
(12/17/08) Black Bart is an 8 week old terrier mix. Bart was rescued 12/12/08 along with his brother Black Cloud. They were with their mother, a possible shih tzu mix, until we picked them up 5 days ago. They will steal your heart when you see these sweet, loving little creatures.

These puppies were microchipped and had their first DHPP shot on 12/15/08. We will take care of the corona, bortadella, and rabies shots, as well as their neutering, when they are old enough.

A donation of $175 is appreciated to help cover the medical costs and other expenses. Call Bob or Wendy at (562) 596-3153 or e-mail to tiger1dr@charter.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Black Bart, a San Pedro Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
