Ever since Bliss arrived into Rescue, we find her to be an absolute sweetheart. She is a little shy but it does not hinder her ability to give kisses and she always wears a huge smile on her face. She loves to play chase and tag with some of her best friends in Rescue so another dog in the household that matches her play drive will be a benefit. Bliss does prefer woman over men.
Bliss is heartworm positive but is not showing any clinical signs. We are currently treating her monthly with Ivermectin and Doxycycline until we can obtain funding for the full heartworm treatment or until her heartworm tests read negative. Her new family will need to keep her on Ivermectin which is a heartworm preventative..
I strongly feel Bliss would make a perfect companion to someone with a laid back life style and someone that can provide her with lots of love. Bliss excells in heeling, and knows sit, down, stand, and wait.If you would like more information on how to adopt this beautiful German Shepherd Please Email:luvgermansheps@yahoo.com All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine.
