Shane was adopted and behaved well in his home, but was returned because his family could no longer afford to keep him after he racked up more medical bills than they could handle! He got out of the fence at his home and got hit by a car, which resulted in a fractured leg, which is currently healing. He is on a special diet of duck and pea formula food. Shane is used to living with small children and did well with them. He is a very vocal dog, so apartment life might not be the best fit for him.
