Raina's Story...
Raina was rescued from the Bolingbrook Animal Control when she was turned in as a stray and not reclaimed. She is by far the SWEETEST baby ever! She is approximately a year old and up to date on all of her vaccines. she is also spayed. She is about 50 pounds and a quite "dainty" pit. She hardly EVER barks, LOVES playing with other dogs - is extremely gentle and cautious of children, completely housebroken and is a total sweetheart! She loves to give kisses and will even go in a crate when asked! She is absolutely beautiful and would LOVE to have a permanent home! She is being fostered in Aurora. Her adoption fee of $250 covers her vetting. Please contact Molly at if you'd like to meet Raina and give her a wonderful life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raina, a Plainfield American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
