Jeffrey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jeffrey's Story...
Jeffrey is under 2 years, great with other dogs, leash + crate trained, prefers being indoors, has great energy, and would be a great apartment or condo/loft type dog. He could easily go to a dog park, and has a trot that you have to see! (Kind of like a Tennessee Walker horse!) Like many wonderful pit bulls at the South LA shelter, he was scheduled to be euthanized the day that we rescued him. He is currently in a foster home with lots of other dogs, and during the day, goes to work with his foster. He will be featured on Animal Planet in March. Jeffrey is a loving, affectionate, sweet boy. He goes to training, and is learning his basic commands. If you are interested in adopting this cutie pie, please contact Lori Weise at the Downtown Dog Rescue, at Lori@modernica.net, or phone her at 818-407-4145.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffrey, a Los Angeles American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
